Why Race Twin exists
I'm Jeremy, and I build Race Twin. I race in iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate and Assetto Corsa EVO, and I wanted what real drivers have: someone on the radio who knows the whole race, so I can keep my eyes on the track.
A few ideas shape how it works.
The engineer only says what the race shows
Your engineer doesn't guess. Everything it tells you comes from the twin, the live model of the race that Race Twin builds from your telemetry. If the twin doesn't know something, the engineer says so rather than making it up. When it gets something wrong, we fix what it's told, not what it's allowed to say.
The twin is useful on its own
Track maps, the fuel calculator, the pit wall and the overlays all run on your PC and work without the engineer. The engineer is one way of hearing what the twin knows, not the only one.
Your telemetry stays with you
The twin runs on your own PC. When your engineer speaks, it's sent a short written summary of the moment, not your telemetry.
A bit of character
A good engineer is good company too. Yours has a character you set yourself, and when it jokes, it jokes about what actually happened in your race.
