These terms apply to your use of Race Twin: the app, your Race Twin account and the services behind them. Race Twin is run by Willemse & Company Technology Inc.. By creating an account, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy.
The closed beta
Race Twin is in a closed beta. Taking part costs nothing. It is still being built, so features will change, things will sometimes break, and we may pause or end the beta. Accounts are by invitation, and you need to be at least 16 to have one.
Your account
Keep your sign-in details to yourself, and don't share your account. You are responsible for what happens under it. If you think someone else has used it, email support@racetwin.com and disconnect the PCs you don't recognise from your account page.
Fair use
Use Race Twin for your own sim racing. Don't try to get around usage limits, access parts of the service that aren't meant for you, overload our servers, or copy, resell or reverse engineer the service. During the beta, the race engineer and voice features may have a monthly allowance per account.
What the engineer tells you
Your race engineer works from the data your sim shares, and it can be wrong. Its information is there to help you race in a sim, and you decide what to do with it.
Sims and plugins
Race Twin works with sims through plugins that read the data each sim makes available. Race Twin is not affiliated with or endorsed by the makers of iRacing, Le Mans Ultimate or Assetto Corsa EVO, and their names belong to their owners. You need your own copy of each sim, used under its own terms.
Our software
We give you a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use the Race Twin app while you have an account. The app, the service and their content belong to us. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
No warranty
The beta is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available, free of errors or right.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, results or races. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending your use
You can stop using Race Twin at any time, and delete your account yourself from your account page. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, and we may end the beta. When the beta ends, we will tell you what happens next before anything changes for your account.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as Race Twin develops. We will change the date at the top, and tell you by email about changes that matter. If you keep using Race Twin after that, the new terms apply.
The law that applies
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
